I'm curious about this fact, as there have been so many threads on the subject of the licensing and music in pubs here and in uk.music.folk in recent months. BTW, I am aware of the laws, etc as I've been reading the threads, so don't need a recap of that. I'm more interested in finding out how far back in time the music session in the pub goes. My guess is, not that far.
