Hello, I heard this song on a radio broadcast from the 'Thistle and the Shamrock' back in the early-mid 80's. I have always been haunted by it, as the artist's name I did not catch. The arrangement started with a female a'capella, then one or two instruments were added on each chorus. Would anyone have any idea who might have had recorded that arrangement around that time? There was no harmony vocals, but I tell you that voice was beautiful and needed no music. Any help would be appreciated.... One more thing - The reference to Mary Black and the album Album Anthem of DeDanann (1985)... could this be the one I heard?
