One reason you may be having trouble finding "Follow" is that it wasn't written by Ritchie Havens. Havens recorded it on Mixed Bag and is most frequently identified with the song, but it actually was written by a fairly unknown songwriter named Jerry Merrick. I had the priviledge of seeing Merrick perform at the Beaux Arts Coffee House in Pinellas Park, FL. back in the sixties. Merrick said that he wrote the song as a bedtime lullaby to his younger sister. Quite a song and Merrick was quite a performer. Wonder what happened to him? TequilaRon.
