Jim, thanks for your info and reminiscences on the "high tech" production for Ding Dong Dollar and the Blythman house parties. From the correspondence we have in the archive, it appears that Hamish Henderson was handling a good bit of the details of the recording, including the notes, and that he had been the one to send the production tapes to Moses Asch. Some of the correspondence is a bit acid on both sides.
It's very useful to have the singers and songwriters for the individual tracks too, and I thank you for that information.
Jim, I'd be interested in hearing more about DDD from your perspective, and the 1972 Unity Creates Strength recording which I have and know you produced. Apologies if you've already talked about that, I've just started following Mudcat (too many listservs, too little time).
