I play a Martin d-28, but only when I play guitar. I play a host of mandolins, including a Hughes, a Coleson, a Silver Angel, and a Docy, but again, only when I am playing mandolin. I play all of these, in combination, wherever and whenever I can, and with whomever I can get to stay in the same place for a bit. I just got back from "novemberfest" a small gathering in town, after picking for 5 hours in a few workshops, on a stage, in a bathroom, and a big closet.
