I just heard Tommy Flemming of De Dannan sing "Mountains of Pomeroy". It's a song I first heard by Cahal McConnell years ago, and for all it's sentimentality I still like it. The version in the DT (Here) seems to lack the beginning verses though, and I'd be grateful if anybody have them. Also interested in the origins of the song - think I've heard that Pomeroy is an anglified French word Håvard Search for "pomeroy" threads
