Hi Rock Chick Tonight (and each second and fourth Tuesday) at the Butchers Arms at Balscote (about 3 miles to the west of Banbury) - a collection of 6 to 10 very friendly learning and improving musicians and good Hook Norton ale. Cannot make it tonight but will probably be there in a fortnight's time. Tomorrow night, ie St George's Day, at the George Hotel, Brailes (about 6 miles to the west of Banbury) - a feast of tradition: morris dancing outside St Geroges Church at 7.30 pm by the Adderbury Village and Ilmington Morris Men, at 9 pm ish the Shakespeare Mummers doing a St George and Dragons Play in the pub and then a music and singing session - finishing late! And the full range of Hook Norton beers, including the bitter at 1 guinea (£1.05) a pint! See you there? "Come fill up your glasses and let us be merry ...!" Alan
