Generally, I start on May Eve (which is my birthday). On rising next morning, I go outside, gather the dew from the lawn, and wash my face with it. Later, I make myself a chaplet of leaves and flowers from my garden to wear in my hair. If I'm feeling particularly spiritual that day, I might cast a circle and do a bit of solitary pagan ritual. And, I usually post some special May Day lore on-line at my Robin Hood discussion group, The Greenwood. This year, I'll be watching Morris dancers at dawn in the local park, then going to breakfast with a friend (if we can find a restaurant open that early). Cheers, Hester
