I found this in our Donovan songbook but I have to admit I don't remember ever having heard it and so I might have split the lines up wrong.

CELTIC ROCK
Donovan Leitch

Down in the wood in the murky gloom
trolls go marching two by two
Down through the cave in the mouth of doom
down down down in the gloom gloom gloom

hey ka-la ho ka-la ho la jai
(but look) who should come by the mountain way
young Finn Hanley a lute he play
clothed in scarlet livery
all wide eyed in the bright moon day
ti-ree tir-a-loo tir-a-loo i ay

I i da di di di di di day i i di i i day
I i da di di di di di day i i di i i day
i ya da di di di di di day
(instrumental break)
i-yi-da-di di di di di day i-i-di i-i-day
i-yi-da-di di di di di day i-i-di i-i-day
i ya da di di di di-da yay

Let me know if you want the chords or dots.

Regards Marion
