I've been haunted and frustrated for decades by a fragment of lyric which I can't trace: When winter walks upon the hill And stands within this place Then I will come to you once more To look upon your face To look upon your face Glimpsed it as a child c.1990. It was the sample text on an ad for a word processing programme in a UK computer magazine (?!). I haven't been able to find it in any anthology or search engine, and I wonder if it has even been published. This is almost certainly a fruitless quest - but this is just the sort of place where the author *might* turn up. I'd be absolutely stunned and delighted if anyone can find it!
