You've exposed me once again, harpgirl, you clever thing. Yes, I was "Karolina". And I had everyone fooled by my cunning portrayal of a Polish girl! What a thrill! But once I had a taste of that sweet, sweet broken-English deception power, I needed more... But, Hell, Polish is easy to fake when you grew up next to NE Mpls... I hungered for something a bit more challenging...

And so "Lena" was born! I had a great run as "Lena," suckering people into dozens of discussions of folk music. How I laughed at those fools! Muaha! I even took up painting to further the deception. But pretending to be an Italian girl in Australia who contibuted hundreds of interesting posts was too just exhausting for me...

So, as you know, I invented the hated bigot "Martin Gibson," my ultimate creation! I could still use the broken English of a non-English speaker, but without all that substance nonsense that pervaded "Karolina" and "Lena's" posts. With "Martin," not only did I get the thrill of decieving my fellow Mudcatters with every santorum-drenched post, but I got to express all of my suppressed racist and homophobic tendencies in the voice of an elderly porn addict! I was in heaven!

And you, you cunning little cow, fucked it all up with your tireless detective work. But as much as I hate you for ruining my fun, I must admit: I'm still a bit flattered. :}
