Back when I had a job, and regularly spent an hour or two each day killing time at Mudcat, I posted to a lot of threads, and "killed" my share of them (i.e., posted something that never got another response).

I don't come around nearly so often these days, but yesterday I seem to have scored a first: I started a thread and failed to inspire a single response:

It's too late now to add anything; the event in question has come and gone. I'm a bit surprised that nobody gave a damn; I was dead wrong in my closing sentence ("I'm sure that a few of you out there are at least mildly curious...")
