Thanks GeorgeH, hadn't put 2 and 2 together to work out that the Black Swan IS the venue!.

I'll try to get there for the Saturday evening - unfortunately "real life" will invade the Sunday and prevent me staying over. Shame.

Deirdre

I'll try to find the time to go. Friends of ours, Susie Fox and Jack Firminger are playing on Sunday.

We'll be there on the Saturday at least. Bored children may prevent a trip down on Sunday as well!

ah "free and easy session" probably refers to a format which is not unsimiliar to the tap and spile on a friday night, with musos and singers sharing a session

will try to make it agan this year-David Swann joined the Hissyfit gig in Robin Hoods Bay on Friday and we backed him on a couple of his songs-great great songwriter-the last laugh was had by us as we drove passed him as he walked up the 75% incline-nearly killed him!!! Looking forward to listening to some great local acts.
