The missing minute of video of the wrong two cell doors in Epstein's jail cell turned out to be a missing 3 minutes of the wrong two doors. The correct cell door is in an unseen foreground and could have picked up an entry. Three minutes is enough to paralyze and hang Epstein by 2 perpetrators. Having ONLY ONE killer would be more challenging. So much for the jail's suicide watch since Epstein was out of sight so he could have done himself in.

Trump's own posts this week are more incriminating than the WSJ letter that was not imaged but only described.

Side issue: The KGB and/or GRU were alleged in the aforementioned TV programme to have bought or otherwise compromised "hundreds" of US businessmen in the 1970s. Now we know why President Donald J. Trump earlier this week began saying nonsensically that Democrats he dislikes wrote the Epstein files. Apparently, Trump was trying to get out in front of the story Khadeeja Safdar and Joe Palazzolo broke last night in the Wall Street Journal, reporting that Trump contributed what the newspaper called a “bawdy” letter to a leather-bound album compiled by Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003 for Epstein’s 50th birthday.

The journalists say the letter “contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly “Donald” below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.”

The lines of text represent an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein:

“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything.

“Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.

“Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

“Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.

“Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.

Florida police began investigating Epstein in 2005 after allegations that he had sexually abused a minor. They identified five victims and 17 witnesses, but ultimately the U.S. attorney in Miami, Alex Acosta, negotiated a plea deal with Epstein in 2008, by which Epstein pleaded guilty only to state charges, including soliciting a minor, and avoided federal charges. Trump appointed Acosta to be the secretary of labor in his first administration; Acosta resigned in 2019 after new reporting by the Miami Herald accused Epstein of abusing about 80 girls and women and showed how Acosta had shut down an FBI investigation into Epstein’s actions.

Regarding the many, many deaths Trump has engineered, I keep thinking of the final scene of an episode of the TV show Medium where the ghost of a man who was a serial killer (from memory, or some other aggravating crimes resulting in many deaths) appears in a room. One by one his victims' ghosts also appear until he is crushed (figuratively speaking) by the large crowd as they advance purposefully closer and closer towards him.

Similar to Trump's yearning for a Nobel Peace Prize, I suspect he also expects to be welcomed with a large celebratory crowd as he proudly advances through Heaven's gate. Maybe he is in for an alternative welcome from the spirits of people who have died as a consequence of his actions. Maybe he will finally have the huge crowd he has been pretending to have at all of his rallies, but maybe he won't be pleased to be confronted by them. Maybe he won't be happy to see that the gate is not to Heaven but to a far more uncomfortable place.

Sorry! That little piece of fiction gives me some comfort, even though it is only imaginative fiction.

There are gaps in the video record at the jail. There are lots of theories about Epstein.

What isn't a theory is how Trump is earning his billions these days - filing frivolous "lawsuits" that result in legal payoffs so his government will do what big businesses want. It seems Epstein could be a bridge too far for some of those who would otherwise calmly pay Danegeld to keep Trump off of their backs.

I would suggest that Trump has already ordered many killings, though they are indirect. He has set up circumstances that have resulted in many deaths, and as a sociopath he has no empathy or concern for those lives.

The number of deaths which are a consequence of Trump's orders are uncountable: COVID mismanagement, stopping USAID, Capitol riot, giving Putin leeway to carry out his attacks on Ukraine, the list goes on. Whether Epstein was murdered or committed suicide will probably never be known for sure. If it was murder there are a lot of rich, powerful men who could have ordered it. Trump could be one of those men, or maybe not. Who will ever know? There are a lot of women who could have wanted revenge on Epstein too, but those women did not have the power or means to do it, IMHO.

When I make a supposition, the word 'may' appears before the possibility. Comic relief does not need the word may. I don't seriously expect Joe Rogan to make love with Trump. However, politics makes strange bedfellows.

I believe Trump is overtired and has made an extreme faux pas against his base, which is uncharacteristic of his bond with his conspiratorial partners.

Trump only sues to make money from people who have money and gloat over doubling his retribution, like punishing a jealous cuckold husband.

It is not my style to repost someone else's Facebook post or only repost editorials and investigative journalism. Sometimes reality resembles reasonable flights of fancy. The style of Dave Barry comes to mind, besides we are the same age.

Just today found this, while re-reading the book; it's from a section about Albert Einstein's time at the Institute for Advanced Studies (Princeton), and his friendship with Kurt Gödel (he of the Incompleteness Theorem). Apologies for length, but context is all.

Einstein and Gödel hit it off immediately. As Einstein said, he would go to the office "just for the privilege of walking home with Kurt Gödel." When Gödel fell ill, Einstein came and looked after him. When Gödel applied for American citizenship and was about to be sworn in, he found what he perceived was a logical inconsistency in the American Constitution that would allow the country to descend into tyranny. Einstein stepped in and went with Gödel to prevent him from sabotaging his own citizenship ceremony.

My portrait of Trump is a plump little man who is a bush league Führer who feeds off his self-delusions. He finds himself perpetually hungry for some kind of greatness and like his goose-stepping predecessors, he blames the world for the conspiracies of the black man and yellow man for the stumbling blocks they put in his way. During the reign of the Barbarians, King Oloaf lived in the provincial castle. He lived an elitist royal life since childhood, so when a series of unlikely events put him on the throne, his childish whims were the foundation of his rule. His court advisors coddled his whims but plotted to concentrate all wealth in the castle treasury, where the advisors would have access. The process of draining all resources of the province and castle began slowly. Still, within 5 years, every life-giving supply and protection of the royal subjects was canceled and monetized for the royal court. The plan for the advisors and King was to get theirs and get out, but the King was deluded into thinking life would go on as usual.

What became usual was starvation, banishment of the discontented peasants, and the crumbling infrastructure from the roof to the dungeons. Disease became the harbinger of deliverance for the remaining loyalists. The last men standing were the military with every conceivable weapon in a kingdom of ghosts and enemies. Trade dwindled as taxation made every transaction a losing proposition. To this day it is uncertain where the Oloaf castle was or if it was just a legend.

First, Trump went full Julius Caesar when he crossed the Rubicon and ordered troops/Marines into US cities. Now, his IRS says churches may remain tax-exempt even if they only endorse political candidates.
