The Donald looks more miserable all the time now, to my eyes.
It might be his edema or possibly neuropathy of the lower limbs.
He certainly sounds more miserable and vengeful.
The bully might feel like the courts and free speech advocates are bullying him. He is even scolding his AG and other loyalists.
What this can do to his blood pressure is not good. Perhaps he will get some rest and relaxation during the upcoming government shutdown.

Many talking heads today are saying that Trump is doing unprecedented things, but they are not surprised. It got me thinking what would surprise these folks.

1 Trump introduces burning at the stake for capital punishment.
2 As an anti-DEI gesture, he removes the statue of the Indian from atop the Capitol dome and replaces it with a statue of himself.
3 Trump has Vance prosecuted for treason and installs Donald Trump Jr. as Vice President.
4 Trump appoints an empty seat, honorary Jesus Christ as a Supreme Court Justice. Only he can hear Christ's decision.

He is saying that various journalists and critics have hate in their hearts. At the Kirk funeral, he says he won't forgive and hates his opponents.
He is making the world in his own image, crude, greedy, and intrinsically mean.

It feels like the opposition to Trump lacks the magic glue that held the '60s together. Does he control God, money, and digital propaganda as the magic glue that holds MAGA together?

Perhaps the 1st amendment is the glue that we have left, for now.

Talk about a think piece, when narcissism is concentrated with enough ego, it seems to collapse into a black hole of ego. No light escapes, but it has a gravity that draws even more egos into its maw.

There is so much polarization in political issues today that the issue is not debated but the MAGA authority simply presumes lunacy in its protestors and detractors who need some sort of help, punishment, or even death for the homeless.

I've just re-read the 22nd amendment.
As the law currently stands President Trump cannot stand for a 3rd term as President.
It does not appear to prevent him standing as vice-president to someone with less than 6 months life expectancy. (Yes, highly unlikely, but possible).

The UK does not have a written constitution but, as Wiki puts it,
