Subject: RE: Need One More Date Tacoma/Seattle Area From: JedMarum Date: 15 Apr 07 - 11:22 AM Thanks to all for helping with this effort. With your help I've managed to book all the dates I have available in Seattle for this trip. I truly appreciate your assistance. I am looking forward to the trip and I hope to meet all the Mudcatters who can make it out to one of these shows. My wife and I are extending the tour a bit to visit with her brother and family while we're there and I'm looking forward to that too. I don't get to the northwest often but I always love it. I'll post the show dates below. |

Subject: RE: Need One More Date Tacoma/Seattle Area From: Stewart Date: 28 Mar 07 - 06:52 PM Hi Jed, You might try the Mandolin Cafe in Tacoma. They don't pay, but I hear it's a nice place (haven't been there myself, but there is an Irish session that plays there). Looking forward to your visit and house concert. Cheers, S. in Seattle |

Subject: RE: Need One More Date Tacoma/Seattle Area From: JedMarum Date: 28 Mar 07 - 03:22 PM The Tractor Tavern doesn't do acoustic music on weekends. I've contacted all the others listed here, too. Still waiting on responses from a few. Thanks y'all. This has been most helpful and I very much appreciate the help. While I found it difficult to find all the music venues in the area, I did find a lot of musicians - in fact, I think if you live in Seattle/Tacoma area you HAVE to have a myspace profile! |

Subject: RE: Need One More Date Tacoma/Seattle Area From: ridovem Date: 28 Mar 07 - 04:31 AM You might check out Cafe Luna, on Vashon Island... they do some live Fridays- pretty eclectic, small room, generous crowds... "listeners". (I'm assuming you tried the Antique Sandwich in Tacoma.) Good luck! ^..^ |

Subject: Need One More Date Tacoma/Seattle Area From: JedMarum Date: 27 Mar 07 - 09:54 AM Time's getting short. I've scoured the web and pursued every lead friends have given me, but I'm still short one date in June for a Seattle trip. In particular; FRIDAY - Jun 21, 2007. I would like to find something closer to Tacoma, I have to be in Graham on Sat morning for the Tacoma Highland Games. Does anyone have any thoughts? Pubs? Restaurants? House or Small venue concerts for that Friday night? Any suggestions will be most appreciated. |
