Subject: RE: Lyr Req: St. George (Waterson:Carthy) From: Wolfgang Date: 26 Apr 07 - 10:37 AM Holy Heathens and the Old Green Man lyrics online (on Garry Gillard's site). The transcription is a good start for trying to listen but as the transcription has been made by a German there are still mistakes in it, for instance in the line Malcolm has posted. Wolfgang |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: St. George (Waterson:Carthy) From: GUEST,Foxtail Soup Date: 23 Apr 07 - 12:59 PM Malcolm, you're a star! I believe John Kirkpatrick's new album due out today has a recording, most likely his own reworked version, but not had a chance to get hold of it yet. Thanks again Rebecca |

Subject: Lyr Req: St. George (Waterson:Carthy) From: GUEST,Foxtail Soup Date: 22 Apr 07 - 12:40 PM We are hoping to sing the song, "St. George" which appears as track 3 on the Waterson:Carthy album "Holy Heathens and The Old Green Man." However, we are having some problems transcribing the second line of the fourth verse, and have had no luck googling for answers! We would be very grateful if anybody out there has any ideas what the line might be. Even better if we could find out some time before tomorrow evening.... Ta Rebecca |
