Subject: RE: BS: Fort Worth, TX, catter? From: Stilly River Sage Date: 18 Jun 07 - 10:14 PM Wesley Smith lives north of me, but I think his area was ok (the TCU neighborhood, if I remember correctly). My side of town (southwest) is soggy, but it wasn't flooded like the north side and beyond. Haltom City is a little town surrounded by Fort Worth on the north side of I-30. From that area and on up to the Oklahoma border (and probably beyond) it was torrentially wet. We got about six inches of rain at my house from late Friday/early Saturday through Sunday. It was spread out just enough that the creek at the bottom of my yard stayed in its banks. I'm not sure what the final readings were for the flooded area. They STILL haven't figured out that putting trailer parks in flood zones is a bad idea. This is what happens. Here is a specific story. Fort Worth Star-Telegram SRS |

Subject: BS: Fort Worth, TX, catters? From: Deckman Date: 18 Jun 07 - 09:58 PM I know of one mudcatter in Fort Worth. According to the TV reports, serious floods have hit the area. Is everyone down there O.K.? |
