Subject: RE: Tech: Watching TV on the PC From: Mr Red Date: 11 Jul 07 - 12:55 PM Dunno - TV card is OK ish but I do see a lot of liney edges on fast movement. I would bet the web-based stuff is MPeg4 and maybe even limited resolution to about 320X480 - it would use a lot of bandwidth. Dunno what the finacial side looks like - I refuse to load flash on dial-up. |

Subject: Tech: Watching TV on the PC From: artbrooks Date: 11 Jul 07 - 10:25 AM There are a number of "services" out there, such as "3000tvchannels.com", that purport to provide international television programming for a one-time fee of about $50 US. Anyone have any experience with these? Are they safe? Is there a catch? |
