I doubt shipping tumbleweed is going to increase its already massive invasion of the US. Its seeds are so light and numerous that they can be carried hundreds of miles in strong winds. It's probably already established itself almost everywhere that it can possibly grow.

Just what the nation needs--weeds shipped all over the place. Scotch Broom in the Pacific Northwest might become a cash crop after all of the years of eradication. And Himalaya blackberries.
