Thanks. I'm using a friend's computer right now and found the BS thread.


I think they may have been using some sorta filter at the Center. I can check it again when I'm there, tho there's no guarantee I'll be able to figure it out any better.


But at least now I'm able to check in to see who everyone's voting for, where to find the best cheesecake and ruminations on Fidel Castro, honeybees and the future of Hagan Daas Ice Cream.

(btw if anyone DOES have a rec for a very VERY compassionate and kind and gentle and PATIENT dentist in the Metropolitan Big Apple area, you may post here. Yes here. Right here. Next to my sadly deteriorating upper left molar.

While logged in click the Membership button and check whether the "BS" option ius set to include BS threads or not.

Then go back and check your settings on the main threads page -- have you put something in the filter box inadvertently?

it IS possible to not display BS threads...maybe you have accidentley set that option

Did something change on this website? I wanted to go to all the BS/Non -music threads today,and I can't find them anywheres. Am I...missing something. Maybe it's right before my eyes, but I don't see it. Also, I noticed there was a question about cameras on the music thread today..have all the threads been united or stitched together or been granted civil unions... or something? I admit I'm not the most computer saavy person on this site (in face I may be the LEAST computer saavy), but I miss scrolling thru those rambling threads of assorted topics.

Look, I love folk music (however it is defined) as much as ANYONE, but sometimes I just wanna talk about politics and religion, local and national news, good recipes for chocolate brownies and where to find a good dentist, and Dave Letterman's beard. Things like that. So where am I to go???
