Subject: RE: Review: The Transatlantic Sessions From: Murray MacLeod Date: 09 Mar 08 - 06:41 AM it's Jenna Reid, and yes she is a wonderful and expressive fiddler. Subject: Review: The Transatlantic Sessions From: Dave Hanson Date: 09 Mar 08 - 06:11 AM I watched this on BBC4 on Friday, wonderful Shetland fiddler called Jenna Reed playing the very beautiful air Hector The Hero [ James Scott Skinner ], along with Aly and the rest. I'm not a fan of dobros but Jerry Douglas raises it another ten levels, what a superb musician. On the whole a great programme. eric |
