Subject: RE: Valid Win32 Application From: Joe Offer Date: 22 May 99 - 03:59 AM Hi, Raymond - the first thing you have to do is unZip the Digital Tradition files, using WinZip or PKZip or something like that. Make sure the Digital Tradition files are all by themselves in their own directory/folder. then Click on the go.bat file, and the database will set itself up. To run the database, click on folksong.bat. You can drag folksong.bat onto your "Start" button to give yourself ready access. -Joe Offer- |

Subject: RE: Valid Win32 Application From: Jon W. Date: 22 May 99 - 12:03 AM You may need to extract the files from an archive - if the file is a .ZIP file, use WinZip to extract. The last time I downloaded the database, about 2 years ago, it was a DOS application that ran in a window. But it all works okay under Windows 95. |
