I remember a TV programme from the 1950s called " The Buccaneers ", and the title song went something like-

Definitely not traditional, but I remember as a child a TV series about pirates, the sig tune of which went something like:

A life on the ocean wave will be

Kelly the Pirate. Bold Princess Royal. There are lots of songs about privateers. Officially they were pirates if you fell foul of them.

I think Aaaarrgh, was invented by Robert Newton when he essayed Long John Silver or Blackbeard the Pirate (he had a delicious death scene as the latter.)
