It was my Mum's funeral yesterday. The sun was shining and lots of friends and neighbours came to the Methodist Church for the celebration of her life. She had a beautiful woven willow casket with garlands of flowers around it. The service was lovely and my friend, Janet Kent, who has a beautiful voice, sang The Lark in the Clear Air.
I really cannot believe that Mum is gone and am still in a bit of a shock. My friends have been so wonderful and supportive. Thank you all so much for your messages, they mean a lot.

Though Anniecat and I have not met, I send warm wishes and condolences. I can't put myself in your shoes, but my dad died last September, so can empathize.   I do hope that friends and family will indeed rally round to support you, Anniecat.

Anniecat (Annie Lendon) has asked me to let her friends know, as she does not have access to a computer at the moment, that her Mum, Dorothy, passed away on 7th on June. Dorothys funeral is on the 24th June and I am sure all her friends will rally round and give her the support she needs right now.
