It really must be my lucky week.

A phone call has just informed me that I've won a FREE all inclusive cruise to the Carribbean - there really are some generous people in this world.

But who pays for those tickets, eh?

Oh I see, you pay only when you win - remoinds me of an "Irish Lottery"... :-)

I've had a few of those. Didn't you know, you don't have to buy a ticket for any lotteries now, an international supercomputer buys one for every valid email address registered in the Suckers Database?

Personlly I just ask then to deduct the cost from what they owe me... never hear back from them...

There are a few of those Lottery Scams - As far as I an see , the idea is YOU have to pay to have the cheque delivered by courier on most of them ! Up front !! THEN wait for the courier to arrive !

'Look for sales on air-guitars.'

Mooh, you are so funny!

I never win anything. But I am often "recamendeid for honisty and good persoun to getmonie from queen of Nigeria and put in bank account for saf keping." I gave them my bank account for the deposit but so far all they have done is withdraw my savings to cover the expense of the 13 trillion dollar transfer. I can wait.

Indeed. Probably didn't offer the full million so as not to arouse suspicion !

Only way to deal with this type of mail is the delete button.

nutty...Don't spend it all in one place. Look for sales on air-guitars.

I won an extra day of life today, for which I am thankful. So many seem not to be (winners, or for that matter, thankful).

Peace, Mooh.

It was a very plausible e-mail that advised me of my win in the on-line National lottery. I had to read it twice before reality kicked in.

A) I hadn't bought a ticket
B) National lottery does not advise its winners via email

The email didn't ask for money up front or for bank details just personal info AND a copy of a driving licence or passport in order to verify you as a prize winner (and steal your identity - of course)

I know I'm speaking to the converted - but - be careful out there
