Dave
No reason, I am just looking for relevant quotes. They are actually a mix of old and new. For example, I have already used Lowlands of Holland and High Germany.

Modern songs might also be more recognisable today.

You may, of course, name your chapters as you please, but I'm just curious: Why the names of (presumably modern) songs?

I still need musical quotes for names for the following chapters, if anyone can help:

Plays, comedies and Molière
Discusses plays such as Les Précieuses Ridicules and L'Avaré (the Miser), in both of which Molière took parts of the plot from Samuel's work

Dictionaries and encyclopedias

Preacher and Teacher
Discusses Samuel's role as a minister (reformed religion, Calvinist) and school master (He ran his own schools in Paris and Geneva)

Good, but I was thinking more on the lines of quotes from (well known) songs

(He once described a character in a play, believed to represent himself, as 'juif errant' )

I am writing a biography of a 17th Centruy ancestor who was a poet, playwright, minister of the Reformed religion, and writer.
He travelled widely through Europe, visiting the courts of Kings and Princes, writing books describing his travels. He lived for a time in Amsterdam, Paris, Geneva and finally Celle.

I am looking for help to find chapter names which are musical references.

For example, I already have "Poems, prayers and promises" and "Kings and vagabonds".

Does anyone have suggestions for chapters which are currently headed "Early life" and "later life"?
