I'm usally up by the Site 2 entrance too, near Breton Cap and the loos - I'm the unbearably perky one first thing in the morning, so you won't be totally amongst strangers...

All things failing I could save you a space by my tent just inside the site 2 gate!! But you may feel the need to be further away from the goings on.

There are a number of swaps and spare tickets advertised on the Notice Board by the Box office at the festival you may be lucky when you collect your ticket.

It's nothing to do with noise, it's just that having camped on both sites I prefer site 1 and also my friends are on site 1. Still, I realise I might have to be a brave girl and go to site 2!

Sometimes you can get a swap on the gate, but the distances involved are such that unless you have severe difficulties, it's not that far - only another couple of hundred yards.

Having camped on both sites 1 and 2 over several years, I can honestly say there is very little difference in noise levels at night if that is your problem. Site 2 can be quieter if you go down the far end but really, the sound carries so well there that if the wind is in the right direction, you can hear the 'Arts Festival' in the village pub.

If you are with a group of people and don't want to be separated, then sometimes swaps can be made on site.

I've left it a bit late and have had to get a ticket for the number 2 site at Towersey. Is there anyone with a No. 1 site ticket who wants to swap? Please?
