Subject: RE: Lyr Req: False Hearted Man From: Jim Dixon Date: 08 Aug 08 - 08:10 AM BMI.com lists a song called FALSE HEARTED MAN, written by Martha Mary Sullivan, a member of SOCAN. (That would imply she's from Canada.) |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: False Hearted Man From: Joe Offer Date: 05 Aug 08 - 04:00 PM Hmmmm- there are those who might disagree with me on this - we have lots of false-hearted women, but the only false-hearted man I could find around here is the Outlandish Knight: "Lie there, lie there you false hearted man Lie there instead of me For if six pretty maidens you have drowned there The seventh one hath drowned thee" -Joe- |

Subject: Lyr Req: False Hearted Man From: GUEST,Myrick Date: 05 Aug 08 - 03:32 PM I've been trying to get the lyrics/author/singing artist of this song for years. I got the tune and partial lyrics from a 30-40 year old bad recording. I think it may be a country song/artist as it was the typical repetoire of the lady sining on the tape. Here are some words that will hopefully trigger a memory from someone out there: Don't fall in love, with a false hearted man And if you don't listen, there's no one to blame You will be broken hearted, if you [couldn't make out words] Don't fall in love, with a false hearted man Don't try to change him, [therein lies the game] [for if love don't know, he will try just the same] And if you don't listen, you have no one to blame Don't fall in love, with a false hearted man |
