Johnny Ramsay at EFX is one of the best he has a number of rigs and may be able to help as I say though he's one of the best so he could be booked.

At this time of year (the middle of the Edinburgh Festival) you'll have to take whoever you can get and pay whatever they ask.

Sounds to me like you've got unreasonable expectations. The Edinburgh Festival is a *much* more competitive environment than you're used to.
