Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: katlaughing Date: 15 Sep 08 - 12:22 AM It's basically a Palin Presidency that's going to come about if he gets elected and the powers that be, on that side of the aisle, have planned it that way, imo. They will have another puppet, only this one is attractive to some, but just inexperienced enough to do what they say because she will find out she will be running with the big dogs and she won't have much choice, esp. if she tries to pad her administration with grade school friends. To prevent this, the American voter deserves to know ALL there is about McCain's health. |

Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: Stilly River Sage Date: 14 Sep 08 - 09:01 PM The usual suspects balk at the idea of their candidate having to come clean about the state of his health. If the truth is out he'll absolutely be considered too big a risk to many moderate or left-leaning members of the party. Our two Mudcatters want to risk the one-two punch of McCain's death in office and the rise of Sarah Barracuda to the highest office in the land with her slim experience and fundamentalist leanings. Scary stuff. |

BIG MONEY likes their Presidents that way. See Bush, George W. |

Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: pdq Date: 14 Sep 08 - 06:59 PM "...the NYT...they will just make them up and print them" Surely they can recruit Dan Rather to do that. He has a great deal of experience in falsfying documents and has a rather small work load now because of it. |

Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: Stringsinger Date: 14 Sep 08 - 04:45 PM pdq, Clinton was a younger man, although he was not in good shape, it turns out because he did have a heart attack. But he didn't die. McCain smoked two packs a day for 25 years. 6 different medications. His health is relevant because he is applying for the highest office in the US. he would be the oldest president ever to serve. He is being stingy with his health records. He is trying to keep something under wraps by not allowing this information to be made public. McCain may have psychological issues as well. His flip-flopping on what he says during his press conferences and not knowing basic things such as the borders of Afghanistan or Iraq or the difference between Shi'a and Sunni may be characteristic of his ability to make sound judgments. Americans can't take that chance with a president. |

Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: katlaughing Date: 14 Sep 08 - 02:53 PM I don't remember if he did or not, pdq, but that's a poor justification on anybody's part,if you ask me. Also, Clinton wasn't the oldest person to have ever run for president AND he hadn't had every kind of skin cancer there is. Did you listen to what the doctors had to say? |

Subject: RE: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: pdq Date: 14 Sep 08 - 02:34 PM Why? Clinton never did. |

Subject: BS: McCain needs to release health records From: katlaughing Date: 14 Sep 08 - 02:33 PM Please read this, from Brave New Films and The Real McCain dot com (my emphasis): The state of John McCain's health is an issue of grave concern for all Americans, regardless of political persuasion. Given the fact that he has been treated for an invasive melanoma and other maladies, it is important that he release his full health records. For a very brief three hours in May, McCain released 1,173 pages of his medical records to a carefully selected group of reporters. They were not allowed to make any copies or phone calls. Why such secrecy? We have enlisted a group of doctors from around the country to lead the effort to make sure the public is able to see and make judgments for themselves. Secrecy is not of service to our democracy, transparency is. Please have other doctors sign the open letter. Watch the video and sign the open letter. Cancer is a serious issue. That's why 30 (kat here: over 100, now) medical doctors have already signed our open letter telling McCain to issue a full, public disclosure of all his medical records. Send this video far and wide to request that McCain release his full health records. Ask every medical doctor you know to sign onto the letter, and don't forget to sign the letter yourself! McCain's records must be made public and soon. click here for letter and video. Those on dial-up can still sign the letter; the video does nto play until you click on it. Thanks, kat |
