Subject: RE: BS: Down we go From: The Fooles Troupe Date: 04 Oct 08 - 08:22 AM I always use the right button - 'open in new tab' - I have several windows open at once, keeping the original thread list open until I finish checking thru it. If I post in a thread - it usually opens the thread list at the top of either the BS or other list - depending on what the thread was - Firefox V2 on Win98SE - but my SpeedDial plugin will only open ins a new window, not new tabs - irrespective of what settings I use! |

Subject: RE: BS: Down we go From: Donuel Date: 01 Oct 08 - 08:12 AM The thread drift button is my favorite, like last night when athunderstorm hit with such ferocity that a hoaf second before the explosive lightning strike you could hear an electric fizz shooting out of the earth. Each strike literally blew chunks of earth and trees into a shower of shrapnel. |

Subject: RE: BS: Down we go From: Bill D Date: 30 Sep 08 - 08:28 AM ?? Not sure exactly what you say is happening, Bert. Is this after you read a 'post' and go back to thread list? It sounds like a browser issue, not a Mudcat issue to me. Different versions of Opera had different behaviors when I returned to the threads. |

Subject: RE: BS: Down we go From: eddie1 Date: 30 Sep 08 - 03:35 AM FWIW, I always use the "Back Button" (top left corner in IE) which takes me back to where I was. Eddie |

Subject: BS: Down we go From: Bert Date: 30 Sep 08 - 02:20 AM Perhaps this post should be "tech" but, why is it that whenever I read a post (any post) Mudcat takes me down to the end of the thread list and I have to scroll back up again to get where I was. This is most disconcerting as I seldom can remember where I was in the first place. |
