Subject: RE: Thought for the Day (June 15) From: catspaw49 Date: 15 Jun 99 - 11:05 AM Thanks for the joke. My day started out when Karen woke me up saying. "There's a bowling ball stuck under the Prelude." Now I realize that in your house this would be as ludicrous as finding a carp playing "Yellow Rose of Texas" on an accordion in your kitchen, but in OUR house it made perfect sense. So the first 10 minutes of my day was spent dislodging said bowling ball. Thanks for the joke. catspaw |

Subject: RE: Thought for the Day (June 15) From: Stirling Date: 15 Jun 99 - 10:32 AM I would think a joke like that should be prefaced by words to the effect: "I apologize in advance for what you are about to read" - hehe |

Subject: Thought for the Day (June 15) From: Peter T. Date: 15 Jun 99 - 08:52 AM A man is just about to enter an elegant restaurant, when he sees a sign saying "Ties Are Required". Not wearing a tie, he is stuck. He goes back to his car, and rummages around looking for anything that he might use as a substitute. He finds some jumper cables, and ties them on. When he gets to the entrance, the maitre d' looks at him very suspiciously, and then says: "Well, go on in. Just don't start anything." Yours, Peter T. |
