Subject: BS: Change.gov is now Whitehouse.gov From: Alice Date: 20 Jan 09 - 11:45 PM Back when the Obama transition team set up change.gov for interaction and citizen input, I started a thread about it on Mudcat. Now that the transition is over, the web site change.gov invites everyone to join them at http://www.whitehouse.gov/ The Obama team has been using the internet to communicate about the administration that has been building, including you tube responses to the comments and suggestions written on change.gov by the general public. If you had been checking into change.gov, you could watch for example, the you tube video from the new head of the Dept. of Energy, Steven Chu, talking about science, energy and the environment, in response to what was called the Citizen's Briefing Book on change.gov. Dr. Steven Chu reacts. Continuing on the whitehouse.gov will be Obama's weekly you tube video address, and other reports. Lists of links are at the bottom of the page. |
