On my birthday day I had a celebration at Craft Group - I took along the yummy date scones from the nearby cakeshop, a friend brought a birthday cheese (I don't like sweet stuff like cakes) & I blew out a candle atop this delicious Brie & scoffed cheese & scones. Next day a former colleague gave me a bunch of flowers & card when I met her for lunch.

Friday we had a singing session to celebrate my 57th birthday & John Warner's 59th birthday (he's occasional Mudcatter Jack Halyard) with at least 59 chorus songs. Wot a night - we sang 63!!

Today I had lunch with other folkie friends (no songs tho, alas) but good company & tucker.

Wot a great birthday!
