God knows I loathe football, but as I listen to the supporters of the various UK national teams moaning about the lack of decent players.
Then I look at all the players from other countries who play in the various league clubs. I think the answer should be obvious, encourage our own youth to play the game!
I find it extremely funny when I see players for national teams in other countries scoring the winning goal which knocks a UK national team out of an international competition, and next week there is the same player, playing for a UK league team.
It's supremely ironic.
