Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: ard mhacha Date: 29 Jun 09 - 02:47 PM I had to turn the sound off this was the most annoying noise I have ever heard at a sporting event, FIFA will have to ban the use of these `horns` at next years World Cup, TV companies will not like the idea of their viewers, switching off the sound. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: gnu Date: 29 Jun 09 - 02:22 PM Agreed, am, on all counts. I was rather upset at the US coaching staff in the second half. Seemed to me it was a case of "Get the ball to So-and-So." rather than let the players play with field vision and progression of fluid play AND ball control. Ya can't score if the other team has the ball. Having said all that. GREAT SHOW USA!!!!! I'd say congrats to the Brazillians, but, even tho I consider myself a true sportsman and gentleman, there is just sommat about them that pisses me off. There are the ONLY ones in all of the sports I follow that I just have an inane dislike for. Must be the fucking horns and drums. I would like to see FIFA ban ALL "noise-makers". If ya wanna sing, great... if ya wanna give me a headache with constant agrravating NOISE... beat the feet outta here. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: ard mhacha Date: 29 Jun 09 - 02:00 PM A well organised US team put the frightners on Brazil, this US team is now a match for any side in the world, Brazil finishing the better team, but the US teams first half display was excellent. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: gnu Date: 28 Jun 09 - 07:09 PM Spaw.... Brazil scored and it was not counted. It was DEFINITELY a goal. I watched it on slo-mo replay. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: catspaw49 Date: 28 Jun 09 - 05:48 PM Actually 3-2 I think. I flipped back and forth between it and NASCAR (I AM a shallow motherfucker) because I can't stand those simpleass horns. US played well in the first half and not too badly in the second, but when Brazil got their act together it was all over but the shoutin'.......or the kazoohorn blowing. Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: GUEST,Soccerfan2010 Date: 27 Jun 09 - 10:01 PM Found the site where over 20 000 people have voted against the use of the Vuvuzela trumpet/horn during the 2010 World Cup it's http://www.banvuvuzela.com/ if enough people vote in the millions fifa can't ignore it! |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: Kweku Date: 27 Jun 09 - 05:33 PM Funny enough I've never heard those sounds that everybody seem so upset about. I guess I've been paying too much attention to the SOCCER than the spectators and their noise which is part of the game. My worry is the low patronage of the games. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: gnu Date: 26 Jun 09 - 05:27 PM Oh.... ahhh... when I said SAs above, I meant South Americans... the Brazillians are the worst with the non-stop fuckin drums. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: catspaw49 Date: 26 Jun 09 - 04:17 PM This will effectively keep me from watching the WC. I'vew struggled thru two CC games and I can't take it. I sadly enough DO enjoy the commentary but I guess if I decide to watch, I'll tune it out. I still think the South African Experience should include anal insertions of vuvushit-thing up the ass of every dickhead who toots one. Fuck South Africa. Spaw |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: Les from Hull Date: 26 Jun 09 - 03:48 PM Next year's World Cup Finals are to be held in South Africa (that's why they are having the Confederations Cup there as a build-up and to test facilities). So unless FIFA steps in (unlikely), you will hear these bloody things throughout the tournament. South African fans will be at all the matches. |

THEN EVERYONE GETS TO BLOW ON THE DAMN THING TIL THE GUY BUZZES SHIT OUT HIS MOUTH!!!!! I'M SHOUTING TO BE HEARD ABOVE THE DIN OF THE STUPID ASS VUVUZELAS SPAW |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: gnu Date: 26 Jun 09 - 01:42 PM Like the SA's and heir f***in drums and whistles. I HAVE to turn the sound off on the TV and I would NEVER go to a game with them in it. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: PoppaGator Date: 26 Jun 09 - 01:28 PM FIFA won't ban the vevuzala at the upcoming World Cup, huh? Hopefully, it will only be heard at matches involving the South African team, plus other matches (if any) held in South Africa. If it's part of their national football culture, and it arose during the time of reconciliation, I can see why it should be allowed. (It would probably be impossible to supress, anyway). Still, the degree to which the rest of the world finds this noisemaker annoying might mitigate against ever again holding a major international event in South Africa. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: Les from Hull Date: 26 Jun 09 - 01:17 PM USA played well, very committed, against a Spanish team who probably thought they could stroll through. Brazil played in a similar way against South Africa, and will have to up their game if they want to beat the USA in the final. That bloody noise is getting on my nerves as well, it's almost as bad as squeaky shouty women tennis players at Wimbledon. |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: Amos Date: 26 Jun 09 - 11:16 AM "t was supposed to be a butt whippin, it was supposed to be like that supermodel that bitched Terrell Owens on the new NBC show, Superstars. The FIFA Confederations Cup semifinal between Spain and the USA would set US Soccer back 20 years. Everyone who watches football thought that La Furia Roja would embarrass the Stars & Stripes (including myself). However, Bob Bradley and his crew were the only ones who believed and with body sacrificing defending and timely finishing, the United States pulled off the greatest win in US Soccer history. A 2-0 victory against the "world's best team" that had all kind of world record streaks was a result of American grit." Hey, if we're gonna get thatkind of morale outta it, all the Vulvazealots in town are welcome. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Confederation Cup Invasion Of The Bees From: catspaw49 Date: 26 Jun 09 - 09:42 AM Drives me nuts too. CLICK HERE....For those of you who have been watching the Confederations Cup in South Africa you will probably have heard some insanely annoying buzzing noise that sounds a bit like Satan playing a Kazoo – this is the Vuvuzela. Fuck the South African experience. Spaw |
