Just a quick note to let friends know I'm OK-- but I'm clearing the decks for some stuff (bandmate's wife just died among other things needing attention), and I won't be here much. That means missing some birfdays, sick folks and (hopefully) their recovery, gospel, spirituals, and racism threads..... oh, lotsa stuff. People who think I need to see something important have my email, so-- seeya as I can, and OUT.

Chongo is very kind to animals, Susan...but dogs sometimes take a bad attitude toward HIM on first meeting...so he's iffy about dogs. He's been attacked by a few in the past. If they were introduced properly, though, it would probably go okay. He IS an animal, don't forget, so he empathizes with their problems.

Yep..half of Astana is in the top 25 places! Barring a crash, it may come down to who has the best legs in the Alps. Contador is young & hungry, but if he falters anywhere, Armstrong (and Leipheimer) are ready.

So I am logging out, shutting down the computer, putting all the Mudcatter emails on hold-- and leaving tomrrow for our
