Subject: Lyr Add: HERE'S TO YOU (Oysterband) From: Songbird Date: 16 Jul 99 - 03:26 AM Heres the words, not one of their better lyrics I have to say, but good fun. From the Holy Bandits CD. Get hold of some of their records and enjoy them. Lead singer is John Jones by the way.

Subject: RE: Oyster band/Here's to you! From: Susan A-R Date: 15 Jul 99 - 11:54 PM Just sang their Old Dance at a singing camp bonfire, and it was a hit. Don't even remember their lead singer's name, but I'd walk over hot coals for that one Wow!! Susan |
Subject: RE: Oyster band/Here's to you! From: Songbird Date: 15 Jul 99 - 03:22 AM Alberto, http://www.susx.ac.uk/Users/kcci1/Oysterband/ They are a band from Kent in England, not Ireland. The track is on one of their records which I have, I will see if lyrics readily available. Try their site anyway.

Subject: Oyster band/Here's to you! From: Alberto (inactive) Date: 14 Jul 99 - 10:46 AM Hi! My name is Alberto (real name) and am looking for information on a group called "the oyster band" I think they are from Ireland and are similar to the "Pouges" with a punk/trad. music sound, know what I mean? They do a real cool song which I think is called "Here's to you" (at least that phrase is predominant in the tune) . May anyone out there pass on info to me on where I may find them on the web or have lyrics to the above song? Thanks! Alberto |
