This reminds me of the srory of the mother turtle that was going down the road toward the school. Passing her by was a chicken that asked, "Where are you going"? turtle replied, "My child forgot his lunch and I'm taking it to the school."
Mother chicken said, "By the time you get there he will be on his way home. Here, let me take it to him, I'm much faster than you." So, mother turtle handed the lunch to mother chicken, and mother chicken said, "How will I recognize your son"? Mother turtle said, "Simple, just find the most beautiful child in the school and give it to him."

Mother chicken went to the school and gave the lunch to her own chick.

Aw, folks, you all have some of the sweetest kiddies on the planet!
I built this house for the grandkids- my own kids are in their early 20s and have no prospect in the future-grandchildren-dept yet (they've still got plenty of time), but from the moment we first walked this land I could hear the sound of childrens' voices climbing the big glacial boulders and swinging from the trees. I don't know if my own kids will give me grandkids, but if not, I'm gonna adopt me some!

She looks like a faerie creature that tiptoed in to listen and was enchanted by Poppa's music, Mick. Adorable.

Here is himself, making fun with me, yesterday. If you look closely you might see the freckles which are popping out across his nose!

And, here are the TWINS back East, now eleven years old! Cutting up, too...seems cousins can be a lot alike.

I just thought you all might enjoy these pictures of my granddaughter, Annabelle. She is such a sweetie and loves it when "Poppa" gets out the guitar. Her mother took these shots at two different times over the last month.

How about it, have you got any piccies of your grandkids, or kids, or nieces/nephews, that you would share with us all? Especially ones that have a musical tie? Sometimes it is nice to see us all as folks, instead of a name that we argue/debate with.
