Liev Schreiber also starred in the Woodstock-themed 1999 film A Walk on the Moon. Good entertainment, with the bonus of a steamy sex scene between Viggo Mortensen and the wonderful Diane Lane.

I liked it.. Ang Lee is a solid director who gets into the details.. Demitri has his own comedy show and is funny as hell... I think this was his 1st major acting role.. won't be his last...

One of the things I liked about it (aside from the wonderful characters and acting) was that it took me back to the way things felt during those heady days. I wasn't at Woodstock, myself, but I remember the "vibe" of that period for those of us who were a part of that culture. How soon we forgot.

Gnu,

When I was in Canada there were many stores where you could both buy and rent movies. Blockbuster is closing down here in Wilminton. Is it the same there?

Netflix is a seriously good deal. We end up getting 7-8 movies per month for $4.99 using the United States Postal Service.

There is also Red Box which is $1.00 movie rentals from a (red) vending machine.

Beer, I think any Baby Boomer who like music will like it. That should include most Catters.

Hope to get to see it down the road. Sounds like fun.

My brother told us about it, so we got it from netflix, too, just recently. We both really enjoyed it very much.

Has anyone else seen this? We watched a Netflix copy last night. Its a fun movie with a little bit of seriousness.

Demetri Martin is quite good in the lead but Liev Schreiber steals the show as Vilma.
