As you can see from LH's post, he is already upset, and your warning is too late.

Don't alienate squirrels, they put out forest fires

I do! And have been doing so for many, many years. I can't do both at the same time, though, because squirrels are not nocturnal.

It's fun chasing squirrels. You pretend at first to have no interest in them until they wander quite near. Then you suddenly make a wild rush at them. The squirrel immediately bolts up the nearest tree and then goes into a frenzy of furious chittering and squawking abuse that can go on for some time. If you imitate his vocal insults and make rude gestures, he gets even more upset and starts jumping around on the limb in extreme indignation. The objective is to get the squirrel so upset that he falls out of the tree. That almost never happens, but it's fun trying...

Dachshunds do this too, in their own fashion, but their intention is to catch the squirrel and eat it when it falls out of the tree. They very seldom succeed.

Well, I'm pretty sure LH barks at the moon AND chases squirrels.

I am beginning to suspect that Rapaire and LH are, actually, dachshunds using AI voice-to-English-to-text computerized translators. They are living proof of the old adage, "On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog...".

Assuming it's not already too late.

But then, all time is dachshund time if you're a dachshund.

Hell, Little HAwk, congratulations. You got one fact right from the stream of incoherent drivel. Like a broken clock, right twice a day.

Gad. It's shocking and saddening to see a perfectly normal beer-addled loser from Fresno forget totally who he is and turn into a fictional psuedo-intellectual putz from San Diego who casually reels off terms like "hallucinatory reality-structures" as if he was talking about something he actually understood! Shocking and saddening.

Think how upset Louie's poor wife must get when she reads that tripe. This was NOT the guy she married.

LOL!!!

I have an explanation for this joint narcissistic delusion. I think it is a side-effect of over-exposure to gray skies and cold weather, which slows the brains down of people in Idaho and Canada, inducing hallucinatory reality-structures as a defense mechanism until they can catch up in the Spring.

His real name isn't Amos, it's Louie. Louie Troutfriend. And his room is a trash-strewn "den" inside a dilapidated trailer home on the outskirts of Fresno, ankle-deep in discarded beer cans, cigarette butts, and old Penthouse magazines...

Scotland needs no improvement, Little Hawk, least of all by an invasion of animated German sausages with artificial intelligence in inadequate doses.

I'm in favour of it. Scotland can only be improved by further infusions of Dachshunds, alienated or otherwise.

"Ramona, come closer, shut softly your buggy little eyes.
The pangs of your hunger will ease when I give you these fries..."

There's an alienated dachshund next door to me. She shows no sign of roamin, however.

In the yard next door to HER live a German shepherd and a rottweiler. Even the dachshund (Ramona is her name) has the rudimentary intelligence to know that she stands no chance against them.

So the neighbors open the door, shout "Go potty! Go potty!" (It's embarrassing to listen to) and heave her into the back yard. Ramona usually figures out what is wanted, then starts barking to get back in the house immediately thereafter.

Since the neighbors have rsumed watching television, we have to listen to "Yap yap yap yap yap!" until Ramona manages to penetrate the fog. You should see the look on my cat's face when that happens.

How do you vote? For(+) or against(-)? Tell us how you feel about the Alienated Roman Dachshunds living in Scotland? Is this a good or bad thing? In other words, what have they done for us?
