Alison, is this the one? The B part appears in both Irish and American fiddle tunes but I can't think of the Irish title tonight.

Oops sorry... should have been more specific.....

I know the tune "The Fairy Reel" but I want the tune for the song in the database.... I don't think they're the same tune.

Alison, here are the results of a search I did for the Fairy Reel. They offer several different formats for communicating the melody, so hopefully at least one will be useable by you. I use the GIF files, which are images of the sheet music. There are 14 Fairy Reels listed; these might contain some exact repeats, some slight variations, and some completely different tunes with the same name, so you may have to look around the list.

I didn't know there was a Fairy Reel song. I learned it in my ceilidh dance class, and it's one of my favourites.

Going through looking for songs that need tunes..... found "The Fairy Reel". does anyone know of the tune??.... it'd be funto do for kids....
