Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: GUEST,Knickers Date: 08 May 10 - 06:46 AM Remember when the pound was Sterling? (Parity soon with the Euro?)
Remember when Loyd's of London would insure anything even Garbo's legs? (now they don't have a leg to stand on)

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 07 May 10 - 12:16 PM Exactly. That's my point. Obama isn't that funny. Sarah Palin isn't that funny. But George Bush was very funny! And so was Bill Clinton. We need a president we can laugh at to give people a little relief valve now and then. Just wait till Chongo gets elected. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: LadyJean Date: 06 May 10 - 11:11 PM The only thing I miss about George W. are the jokes. Sarah Palin isn't nearly as funny. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 06 May 10 - 07:07 PM You must be joking. It's totally obvious. He simply radiates virility out of every pore. Chongo is a real "man" of action in the immortal style of Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade. |
|
Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Ebbie Date: 06 May 10 - 06:45 PM lol (And just how can you attest to Chongo's virility, LH? Only because he says so? How naive. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Amos Date: 06 May 10 - 06:08 PM Hmm...Little Hawk is asserting his figment has a figment about Chinga, while he himself has asserted said figment of a figment is real. This gets REALLY complicated. Somebody should ask his view of who is doing what and with which and to whom. And meanwhile, you will notice Chongo never frequents Chinga's several Parlours of Delight, because all the booy guards and doormen have standing orders if he shows his face in those parts, and he would not want to confront those consequences. No, sirree. Chongo made it clear early in life he was looking out for Numero Uno, and let the chimps fall where they may... A |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 06 May 10 - 05:55 PM He is astonishingly old, yes...yet still virile and active. It's a testament to the benefits of cigars, whisky, and a diet of danger. He has never married. Could that be another clue to his astonishing longevity? Chinga imagines that she is Chongo's sister. It's a sad case. This sort of thing happens to famous people like Bob Dylan, William Shatner, and Chongo Chimp. Other people claim to be their close relatives and stalk them and try to horn in on their glory. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Ebbie Date: 06 May 10 - 05:27 PM Chingo/Cbongo, born in the Congo Has attained a very great age Although I feel that he is not real To say it ain't worth Little Hawk's rage |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Amos Date: 06 May 10 - 05:14 PM The debate over the relative reality of Chongo and Chinga (whom Little Hawk acknowledges as Chongo's sister) reminds me of an ancient rhyme: There once was a homo named Bloom Took a lesbian up to his room. But they argued all night, About who had the right To do what, and with which, and to whom. Chongo is a figment who insists he don't know nuffin about Chinga, his sister by birth, who was forced into prostitution at an early age because the feckless Chongo abandoned his mother and sister to seek wealth and adventure. She fought her way up the ladder of success and now owns and operates a chain of prosperous red-light establishments in Chicago, Milwaukee, Denver and Orelia, Canada. Chongo's "creator", or figment-meister acknowledges the claimancy of Chinga. Yet Chongo does not. Is this self-contradiction by Little Hawk? A double standard? Hypocrisy? A divine identity crisis? Stay tuned for more adventures in the Shattering Psyche of the North series, brought to you by Blatt's and Wheat Chex. A |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 06 May 10 - 05:02 PM "Chingo" at the beggining of my second paragraph in that last post was a mispelling, by the way. I meant "Chongo". There is no brother named "Chingo". |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 06 May 10 - 04:58 PM Chinga is one of Amos's imaginary playmates, Don. He dreams up stories about them to piss other people off. (meaning me, mostly) Chinga's brother, Chingo, is quite real, though. He rents from me part time...he comes up here in the good weather to get away from the hustle-bustle in Chicago. The only thing I don't like about Chongo is the cigar smoke....but he is kind enough to only smoke outdoors on the patio when he visits me here in Orillia. Chongo is a fascinating character. He came over on a banana boat from west central Africa in the late 20's, actually witnessed the shocking events that culminated in King Kong's untimely death on the streets of Manhattan, and has fought for truth, justice, and the American Way on the gritty streets of the Windy City ever since he hung out his sign there in the late 30's.... "Chongo Chimp, Primate Eye - Any case solved, LARGE or small, but NO divorce cases!" Chongo has a personally autographed photo of Primo Carnera on his office wall, he once put the cuffs on Al Capone, and he has drunk a beer and shared time on the firing range with Clint Eastwood. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Seamus Kennedy Date: 06 May 10 - 03:56 PM Bill says, "Hell, soldier, these aren't pigs. These are Arkansas razorbacks, see? I got this one for HIllary, and this one for Chelsea!" Trying to recover from his gaffe, the Marine gives a snappy salute and replies "I'm not a soldier, sir, I'm a Marine!" |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 06 May 10 - 11:53 AM Gad, clueless don! How can you NOT know who Chongo is??? Do a search in the filter for "Chongo Chimp" or just "Chongo", and you will get a whole bunch of thread titles onscreen. Open them. Read them. You will soon be enlightened. Chongo will be running for president, as usual, on the APP ticket in 2012. It is his intention to straighten out America by putting a chimp in the Oval Office. (No George Bush jokes, please!) |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Ebbie Date: 06 May 10 - 10:00 AM Clueless Don, Chongo is just out of sight - and smell - of just about everybody. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: clueless don Date: 06 May 10 - 09:06 AM Please forgive my abysmal ignorance, but who is "Chongo"? |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Bonzo3legs Date: 06 May 10 - 05:02 AM And we had Screaming Lord Sutch and the Official Monster Raving Looney Party - great fun and very annoying to the bores on the "Can the lib-dems win the election" thread!!! |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 05 May 10 - 11:53 PM Truth to tell, Sarah Palin is the only candidate who genuinely worries Chongo. She might prove hard to beat in 2012, and she has pointblank refused to run as his VP. Likewise, he has refused to run as hers. She wants the top spot this time. So does Chongo. Too bad, because I think that together they would be unstoppable. Stilly, I don't think you're getting my drift here at all... ;-) Watch a few old videos that make fun of Bush and Clinton and you'll cheer right up. This one, for instance: "The Buick stops here..." |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Stilly River Sage Date: 05 May 10 - 06:00 PM I disagree entirely, LH, about a clueless president. I think we should have had the good sense to elect someone totally clued in. Too bad we missed our chance to elect Molly Ivins. SRS |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Little Hawk Date: 05 May 10 - 04:50 PM LOL! Good one, Amos. We need another "good old boy" psycho in the White House. Trust me. It makes most people feel good to know that the President is probably about as clueless and out of touch as they themselves are. And that is why I think Chongo's chances are really quite good in 2012. |

Subject: RE: BS: Remember how much fun this was? From: Amos Date: 05 May 10 - 03:49 PM YEah, well, I am reminded of the joke where Bill comes back from a trip to Arkansas and walks down Air FOrce One's stairway with a razorback hog under each arm. The US Marine on gguard at the bottom of the ladder says, "Nice pigs, sir!" Bill says, "Hell, soldier, these aren't pigs. These are Arkansas razorbacks, see? I got this one for HIllary, and this one for Chelsea!" Trying to recover from his gaffe, the Marine gives a snappy salute and replies "Yes, sir!! Good trade, sir!" That's how I feel about Bush and Obama. Good trade, sir. A |

From: Little Hawk Date: 05 May 10 - 01:22 PM All you politically contentious people out there....think of the joys of the recent past...joys that are there no longer. (sob!)
