I don't know if this helps, but he has a statue of King Kong on his desk, and he seems to regard it as a sacred object. This would indicate he is not a Muslim as they are opposed on principle to the worship of idols.

Well, it's possible. Chongo comes from Africa and there are many Muslims there. I doubt, however, that Islam would permit his participation. True Islam is a pretty peaceful religion, just like true Christianity.

I shudder to think about the implications of Chongo as a member of... didn't they off Theo Van Gough for some less than complimentary, uh, and how aobut that cartoonist? Yes, Chongo may be able to take care of himself but what about Little Hawk?

(IP) Ontario, 08/26/10. A new Stillson-Brockman poll has found that 31% of those polled believe that Chongo is a Muslim. The poll taken between August 10th and August 20th asked 1450 randomly selected people also found that 58% did not believe that Chongo was a Muslim leaving 11% undecided with a margin of error of 3-5 points.
