Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: Bill D Date: 06 Feb 11 - 01:00 PM Google's positioning based on addresses is never exact. IF you know the exact longitude & latitude, Google Earth can take you right there. The trick would be, once you know the location, to use Google Earth to go there, zoom in, get the precise numbers and post those. Or..if you just wanta show folks, zoom in to a nice level, and take a screen capture photo and post that somewhere (to add to on the ground pics you have already taken) I can see that potential buyers are limited to those who are not intimidated by the location & the hills. |

Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: Bobert Date: 06 Feb 11 - 12:49 PM Believe me, Bill, it's a job... The 9 inches we got week before last took 4 hours on the Kabota to get out... Plus, what you can't see, that is if you found the right farm, is that the driveway is mighty steep... I use 4 WD in my truck when it doesn't have snow on it!!! BTW, I'm not too sure why Google takes folks to the wrong place??? B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: Bill D Date: 06 Feb 11 - 12:25 PM Durn, Bobert... that place is almost as close to the 'end of of the road' as anyone would wanta be! No wonder we hear all these tales of plowing thru the snow to go get beer in the Winter |

Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: DMcG Date: 05 Feb 11 - 12:29 PM In the UK you might get a basic property about 25ft by 50ft for that price - as long as it is an average sort of area. How depressing ... |

Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: Bobert Date: 05 Feb 11 - 12:22 PM Wrong farm, Amos... Ya' didn't go down Pine Grove far enough... Ya' kinda have to pass Freindly Lane and Varener Lane on the left and then you'll come to two drive ways on the4 right that are kind next to one another... Take the first one all the way back and you'll be here... B~ |

Subject: RE: BS: Buy Bobert's Farm, Part 2... From: Amos Date: 05 Feb 11 - 11:35 AM Also note for consideration that Bobert's farm is only five miles from the thriving little town of Stanley, where all modern conveniences and supplies may be found. |
