I've got a girlfriend in NC who keeps offering me a plane ticket to come out. When I get fit enough, I'll have to see how close she lives to ya'alls. I can't take up her offer until I've seen my dau. and grandsons in CT, though; it wouldn't be fair. Would love to do some genealogy work in NC, though. Have fun and congrats!

First things first... Charlotte is 45 minutes away and there's the Double Door Blues Club there... Second, yeah, we'll be lookin' for a church when we get down there but we're kinda picky so we'll tell 'um that we'll be lookin' and then they'll say somethin' like "Well, we'd love to have you at _____________ Baptist Church" and then we'll say, "Thanks, but we're Presbyterian..." That'll shut 'um up unless, of course they ask us to come to the _____________ Presbyterian Church and then we might check it out...

Back to music... Ashville is 2 hours and I can play on the streets there if I want to and make a few $$$ since looks as if GfinS ain't gonna throw no peas in the pot... Guess she don't wnat sit by the pond with Leadfingers, Amos, Donuel, the Capt'n, Rap, Noreen, Janie and my new carpenter's assistant, BillD... telling lies, fishin', gettin' drunk, spittin' an' all...

Yup, we have a contract on the farm to close on or before June 1st... "The boys" who bought our spec house are buying it which will give them control of the entire original footprint...
