This is truly a bummer. I watched RCAF while living in northern Vermont and really loved it. Mr. Abbott's Jean Cretien was a riot!

Oh dear, that's a huge loss. I gotta say this one hits me harder than most star passings. I was listening to RCAF oh maybe 30 years ago or more. They were ground breaking in their early days. Loved his impressions including relatively more recent work. RIP, Rog!

You're welcome. I know all Canucks know him. Maybe I shoulda put more in the title... or maybe not? The Royal Canadian Air Farce was a "MUST listen to" on the radio in my home many years ago, as it was, I am sure, Canada wide. The same for the subsequent TV show.

So, for several generations of Canucks, it truly is a sad day.

I am a long time fan of The Air Farce. Roger was an anchor and I loved his "Jean Cretien"! I hope that the show survives despite his loss and John Morgan's death and Dave Broadfoot's retirement as well! It will never be what it was but its legacy still makes it better than most of the "shit" on the idiot box!
