I wish my parents had been rich enough when I was that age to see a need to send me to Philanthropy Camp.

Take a look at Grab the Torch - Leadership, Ethics, Authenticity, & Philanthropy a week long camp for children from 12 on up where they teach them the "art of philanthropy." I heard them interviewed on a local NPR program: HERE. I can't find any "code words" which would reveal any extremist slants, so I think it's probably a really great program. They also work with schools for presentations to students.

It gives me hope for what may come in the years when these children begin to take over leadership positions.
