Subject: Cotswold Morris in Somerset From: GUEST,A Previous Mudcatter Date: 08 Aug 11 - 03:06 PM Hi - I have recently been experiencing strange and inexplicable urges to learn to morris dance... It's cotswold that interests me (I like the white and the hankies and the jumping), and I'm trying to do a bit of research. Ideally I'd like to find a side in (south) Somerset, mixed (I'm a girlie!) and preferably a younger side although to begin with I won't be too fussy with that! I've seen the name Dr Turberville's floating about but all the info on that seems to be a bit old, I don't know if they're still about? There's also one in Poole that is specifically for under 30s which would be fab only it's Border Morris and, as previously mentioned, I like the white and the hankies :) Anyway - if anyone has any pointers... I might even reveal my identity :) Cheers, here's hoping! |
